Hi All,
The Mill On Soar very tranquill fishery many anglers had a practice before the match and was very impressed with the outcome but when it came to match day things changed a little.
we welcomed rain at the draw but after 30 minutes the sun shone while we progressed into the match with just the odd flurry of rain.
George Wooley came out on top with weight of 42lb 04 from peg 07 but unfortunatly cannot make the final.
Second was Paul Tag Taylor from next door peg 06 with 33lb 08 third was England Disabled international Mark Russell on his way to france to represent his country with a weight of 26lb 00 from peg 36 and we wish Mark all the best to bring back GOLD.
Sections went to Stephen Handsford with 25lb 10 peg 09. Terrie Tapp from peg 10 with 16lb 08. Brian Lewis with 23lb 07 from peg 24.
and Steve Parker with 19lb 08 from peg 29 well done to all.
26 fished and the charities benefitted again from the generocity of all concerned with an amount of 208.00.
